Today is tax day... Dunno what to do with that tax refund??? Please read on... He is so thankful for the many friends he has made online and the many gifts he has received so far. Richard should be buying his car this weekend and we will post a picture of the vehicle as soon as possible... In other AMAZING NEWS, Richard got accepted to Georgia Southern. This is the same school Derrick will be attending on full scholarship this fall. Unfortunately, Richard has no scholarship so you may hear from some of his online friends (including myself) who will be trying to raise money towards his college education... I am 18 years old and a Senior in high school. My boyfriend Derrick Martin is in the news lately for taking me to his prom next month. Here is an article about us: This will be a first in Bleckley county and if you donate, you could get a signed (if you wish) picture of the 2 of us at prom together. Well, my old car's transmission just died yesterday so now I no longer have a way to get to school, go find a job or get to one if I find one and I can no longer drive the 85 miles or so to go see my baby Derrick.My family is now stuck with only one vehicle that is my fathers work truck, so me and my mother are stuck unless my father is home which is rare with his job. I am also very much concerned about getting to college after i graduate so i am hoping to find a car that will last. the top 2 choices can be seen in the media I am not asking for a handout nor am I expecting much to come from this but if I could somehow raise enough money to buy myself a reliable vehicle, it certainly would mean the world to me. If you decide to give, please only give what you can. Anything is greatly appreciated. $1 or $2 a person could do wonders with enough people. Much love and thanks again for reading my story.
