Let's make sure we keep them together for a while longer, shall we?  Richard has been accepted to Georgia State University
And he needs to start sending them money right away to help pay for the housing application fee.
The fee is $525 which needs to be paid ASAP if Derrick and Richard stand any chance of getting assigned to the same dorm room. Richard is making application for financial aid as we speak but it may be too late for him to get a roomie assignment with Derrick unless we can raise substantial funds right away. Assuming the car fund donors agree, we could always tap into the $2500 raised to buy Richard a new car, until we can raise sufficient monies in the College Fund to replenish his car fund. Anyway, just updating everyone who wants to remain involved in Richard and Derrick's lives. Thanks to all and big hugs, Gilby  |
